Charmed By Them by Serena Akeroyd blurb

ManviewIn one or two sentences can you sum up your overall impression of this book and how you feel about it?

Well, being a guy and having one woman for five guys, I thought it was a bit weird. Mr Manview is more of a one guy, multiple women kind of guy! But I did really enjoy the close knit and respectful relationships all the guys had living together and loved the attraction and willing interest Sascha had in exploring each man as his own man. So while it was a bit of a paradigm shift for Mr Manview, I could get into it, mostly because I thought Sascha was hot, willing, yet discriminating!

What did you think of Sascha?

I loved her playful character, willingness to explore, and willingness to help all of the men who lived together from making them hot chocolate with cinnamon, to making their Cinnamon sticks stand up at attention (if you know what I mean!).

What did you think of all the men in Sascha's life - Sean, Kurt, Andrei, Sawyer, and Devon?

Each in his own way was a class act. and their friendship and loyalty was admirable. And there was enough discomfort in how the all felt about sharing Sascha that made the story interesting.

This is your first reverse harem romance. What do you think of the concept and relationship dynamic?

Strange at first from the Manview. But I could get into it with a group of guys I really respected and if yet felt the woman was treated me as special.

Do you think a reverse harem will work in real life? How realistic or unrealistic do you think it is?

I would struggle to see it work, at least long-term. But then romance novels are close to fantasy anyway, so why not a reverse harem. It could be every woman's fantasy!

Would you like to be part of a reverse harem? What do you think are the merits of being in one?

I think only if I still felt I was special in some way form the other guys and they woman made me feel that way. Heck, I don't like sharing a donut, so would probably have a bit of struggle sharing a woman!

And if you don't think you'd like to be in one, why not?

I think every guy (and woman) wants to be 'the one.' And in a harem situation, you are one of many. At the same time, I can see a woman being attracted to many different guys, so if it was the right group of guys, I may be able to get into it.

Since this is part of a series and ends in a cliffhanger, do you think you'd be reading the rest of the series?

I took a bit of time off from it, both because I was busy with other things, and also because I was not quite sure how I felt about the concept of a reverse harem. But now I am interested to find out how Sascha ends up with the other men and how she sexually devours each in theri own way, so yes, I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

What's your next read?
