What Helen Read #22: January 2018

Helen had a great reading month in January. Lots of books read, but heh, I read a few more!! :-p *gloats* I really shouldn't but Helen is such a reading machine and I always feel such a sense of accomplishment when I've read a few more books. Don't expect it to become a trend though. I don't know that my power-reading is sustainable. And look at all the pretties Helen read. She and I read a couple of the same books this month too.

Here's what Helen read for January.

Another excellent month for Helen. Let's see what she thought of what she read.

Helen read her first paranormal romance in a long while this month with Lusting The Enemy by Mel Teshco. She loved it and thinks that now she needs to read more paranormal romance.

There were a couple of new-to-her authors for Helen this month. Island In The East by Jenny Ashcroft took her to Singapore in 1897 and during World War II. It was a compelling read. Also Bittersweet by Jacquie Underdown was a moving, heartfelt rural romance. It's the first in a series too, so that's exciting.

Soraya M Lane with Hearts Of Resistance was a total page turner. The strength of the women resistance fighters was breathtaking.

Speaking of series, Alissa Callen took Helen back to Woodlea with The Red Dirt Road. This book was fabulous.

Harlequin is launching a new line called Dare and these books are spicy hot. Helen read Ruled by Anne March and A Week To Be Wild by JC Harroway. These books will melt your Kindle.

And finally, Shock Heir For The Crown Prince by Kelly Hunter and Stranded With Her Greek Tycoon by Kandy Shepherd were must reads. Both authors are a favorite.

Well, here's what Helen read. What do you think? Did you read any of the same books? What did you read this month? Tell us below.
